Top Secret Care Instructions

Listed here are a few guidelines and facts that you should know in order to make your pieces look as natural and as comfortable as possible. We know that you will not be able to the leave the house without it! Remember that you deserve luxurious hair!!!

A few pointers when putting on Top Secret:

* Make sure that you have determined the front of the hairpiece (as explained below) before trying it on,as it will affect the style if not worn properly. 
 
* Determine where the front clip will be placed first, securing the piece using the clip, then proceed to let the clips on the side lightly scrape up against your scalp and secure the side of the hair piece. To properly secure the hairpiece, clip the last clip of the back of the head.
 
* If you are using the extension clips, section off the hair, parting it 1-1/2 inches above the ear, all the way around the head. Place the extension slightly below the line, as to not create a bubble, secure extension with the four-clip attachment system.
 
* Top Secret’s little secret: If you have extremely fine hair, before clipping the extension in, tease a small section to where the clip is going to be clipped in, that will insure a comfortable and secure fit. 
 
* If clipping two extensions in, follow the instructions above then re-part the hair about a 1/2 inch above the first one and proceed to clip in the second extension.
 
 
** Please Note: There is a very light under stitch that outlines one side of the micromesh base. That is the front of the hairpiece and the part that you would clip close to your facial hairline.
 
* When washing these pieces, please use professional care products to keep the hair luxurious, soft, and lasting a lifetime.
 
* Top Secret Haircessory may be washed as if it was own hair. Simply un-clip the extension or top piece, make sure that before you get it wet to snap all of the clips closed as to not snag on the hair. Run water through the piece, shampoo, rinse, and then condition.
 
* Other styling products may be used on the piece to style as necessary.
 
* These pieces can be colored to achieve a perfect match to your existing color or even to create a new look. We STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT bleach or lighten the hair. If you must use color LOW LITE the hair with semi-permanent color or demi-permanent with 10 Volume peroxide (ask your stylist). This hair is beautiful and luxurious, the last thing that you would want to do is damage this hair. Each hair is hand tied one hair at a time and you do not want to risk breaking the delicate knot at the base.
 
* We suggest storing the piece when not wearing it, pinned to a doll head or Styrofoam head, as to not disturb the style that has been set. If you would like to purchase one from Top Secret, please call: (323) -350-3480
 
* When styling the piece after regular washes, we suggest pinning the extension clip or top piece to a canvas or Styrofoam head, then proceed to blow dry, and then use any heat styling product, such as heat rollers, flat irons or curling irons. The hair may also let out to dry naturally; all of our hair has a natural and beautiful body wave to it.

Gently cleanses your hair, Top Secret Haircessory, extensions and all other human hairpieces. Smoothing hair cuticle and improving shine, bounce and manageability, to promote longevity in your Top Secret Haircessory.
 
Directions for using on your hair:
Apply a small amount to wet hair. Work into a lather and rinse. Repeat if necessary. For best results follow with Top Secret Treatment
 
Directions for using on your Top Secret Haircessory and extensions:
Simply un-clip the extension or top piece. Make sure that before getting it wet snap all clips closed so as not to snag on the hair. Run water through the piece, shampoo, rinse and condition.
 
Top Secret Haircessory Treatment

Gently conditions, repairs and detangles your hair, Top Secret Haircessory, extensions and all other human hairpieces. Your hair hair will become healthier, silkier, and easier to manage.

Directions for using on your hair:
After shampooing, massage small amount of treatment into wet hair and rinse thoroughly. For damaged hair, leave the treatment on 2-5 minutes, massage and rinse.
 
Directions for Top Secret Haircessory and extensions:
After shampooing apply small amount of treatment, massage and rinse thoroughly. Towel dry and style as desired.
